Monthly Ceilidhs at Gateshead Masonic Hall

Our monthly ceilidh nights are open to all, whether you’re a complete beginner or a more experienced ceilidh dancer.

Held on the SECOND Tuesday of every month

Our Tyneside Ceilidh Nights ceilidhs will be held at

Gateshead Masonic Hall NE8 1RB

from 7.00 pm until 9.30 pm

Admission £7  (Children 6-17 years old only £3, must be accompanied by an adult)

At our ceilidh nights you'll enjoy a variety of dances with a group of friendly and enthusiastic people.  We aim to be as inclusive as possible, tailoring the programme to suit the ability level of the dancers attending at every event.  All dances are explained and/or demonstrated and walked through first before being done to music, so previous dancing experience is not necessary.

It’s a great place to meet new people, dance and make new friends.  There is no bar but hot drinks and a small selection of snacks are available to purchase.  Please bring your own cold drinks & glasses and a mug if you'd like a hot drink.

We dance to live music from the Redheughers Ceilidh Band, led by Robin Dunn and Rachael Hales.
